Pineapple Baked Beans

Ingredients
5 slices bacon, chopped
1/2 large onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 (16 oz) cans navy beans, drained
1 1/2 cups pineapple tidbits, drained
3/4 cup barbecue sauce
1/2 cup water
2 Tbs soy sauce
1 Tbs Dijon mustard
2 Tbs light brown sugar
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350° F. In a saucepan, add the bacon. Cook over medium heat until fat begins to render.
- Add the onions and garlic. Sauté until onions are soft and bacon is fully cooked.
- Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a simmer.
- Transfer to a baking dish. Cook, covered, for 45 minutes or until mixture is syrupy and heated thoroughly.
